SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD CRITERIA

 

At the end of the season, membership will vote to award one member a Sportsmanship Award. Board members are eligible for the award too.

The following are characteristics that embody good sportsmanship for members of PRWTA. These criteria will be considered when nominating members for the award.


1. Flexible, prompt, and amicable in scheduling matches

2. Positive attitude regarding opponents, partner, and self while playing

3. Helps promote and support PRWTA activities

4. Promotes and cheerfully engages in random mixing of play during Open Play

5. Consistent use of tennis etiquette

6. Knows and follows PRWTA rules

7. Is a Member in Good Standing (MIGS)
